Gary Foster has been involved in the construction business from a very early age. By the time he was 18 he had already gotten experience in roofing with many different materials. Then in 1980, he started working with a construction company doing plaster remodeling on high rise apartments in South Florida. After a near death experience Gary thought it would be better to work closer to the ground. It was then that Gary learned about stucco: how to work with it, apply it, and repair it. He also got to see firsthand what worked best for certain applications as well as what products provided the best results.

Gary knew from a young age that he wanted to be his own boss and by 1989 he had saved up enough money to start his very own company. Like many small businesses he relied on his wife Sheila to help him and together they grew the business to do all types of construction which lead Gary to the stone work aspect of his business. Then, as many family owned businesses experience, Gary’s youngest son, Gary Jr., started coming to work with his father. Now with a few years of experience under his own belt, Gary Jr. is still learning the family craft from his father’s more than 37 years of experience. Gary and his family sweat the details, that’s what sets them apart. They know that every job has their family name on it and in a world, that is moving more and more away from that Gary Foster still knows what’s most important. Doing the job the right way and making sure the customer loves the work that Foster’s Construction, Stucco and Stone has done for them.
